James Park

Veteran's Memorial

The Park & Recreation Committee, with your help, has acquired 74 additional names to be added to the Veteran’s Memorial at James Park. The memorial plaques are designed to honor and remember West Rockhill residents (past or present) who served in our military.  A dedication ceremony for the new plaque is planned for November 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.  Mark your calendar and come join us in honoring these dedicated men and women of our community who have served our country!

West Rockhill Township does not permit metal detecting on its property. This includes all parks, recreation areas, and open space.

Metal detecting is a popular hobby, but it can also be destructive. When people use metal detectors on public property, they can damage historical artifacts and other important items. They can also disturb wildlife and create safety hazards.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping to protect our property and resources.

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact the West Rockhill Township Manager at 610-477-5770
