The Township is governed by an elected three member Board of Supervisors that appoints a five member Planning Commission, a Parks & Recreation Board, a Zoning Hearing Board, and a Conservation Committee to develop and interpret Township policy.  Section 607 of the Second Class Township Code states that the Board of Supervisors shall be charged with the general governance of the Township and the execution of legislative, executive and administrative powers in order to ensure sound fiscal management and to secure the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Township.

The Board of Supervisors' meeting is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the West Rockhill Township building and is always open to the public. The Board encourages all residents of the Township to attend Board meetings to keep abreast of Township business and voice their opinions.

Anyone wishing  to be on the Agenda to address the Board of Supervisors must fill out a Confirmed Appointment Request form and submit it to the Township at least two weeks prior to the date of the meeting.

West Rockhill Township is now using a Consent Agenda for the Board of Supervisors Meetings. Consent Agenda  items are typically  read off and voted upon with little discussion and will save time during Board of Supervisor meetings. The Township will be making all Consent Agenda items available to the public along with the Agenda when it is posted online.
