HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Hearing Board of West Rockhill Township will hold a hearing on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, beginning at 7:00 P.M. at 1028 Ridge Road, Sellersville, Pennsylvania, to hear the following application: Select Properties, Inc., which requests a special exception pursuant to Section
801.C of the West Rockhill Township Zoning Ordinance to permit a pump station (F1 –Utilities Use) which will provide sewer service to the property and surrounding
properties. The subject property is located at 118 Mountain View Road (Tax Parcel No. 52-14-2-2) located in the VR – Village Residential Zoning District of the Township. The Board will consider any other business that comes before it in due course. All interested parties may attend this hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard. Persons with disabilities who wish to attend the hearing and require auxiliary aid, service or other accommodation to participate in the hearing should contact West Rockhill Township at 215-257-9063.

The Zoning Hearing Board meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month, scheduled as needed. Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. at the West Rockhill Township building. All meetings are open to the public. Zoning Map is below.
What happens at a Zoning Hearing Board Meeting?
The typical procedure followed at a Zoning Hearing Board meeting is outlined below:
The meeting is called to order.
Roll call is taken and a quorum is confirmed.
The first case to be heard will be announced.
Each case is heard.
A stenographer is present to take a transcript of the hearing.
The applicant/appellant is sworn in and presents the facts of the case. Expert witnesses may be introduced at this time.
The Zoning Officer may be called upon at the discretion of the Board to provide testimony.
Other parties are given the opportunity to comment or offer additional evidence depending on party status.
Any participants are sworn in and signed in to confirm their status.
Any party may present pertinent information to the Board, either prior to or at the time of the hearing. Such material will be made part of the official record of the proceedings.
Every applicant or witness is subject to cross-examination and general questioning by the Board or by other interested parties.
At the conclusion of the case, the testimony is submitted into evidence and the case is closed.
Normally, the Zoning Hearing Board will recess to discuss the evidence and testimony.
Upon return, a motion will be made to grant or deny the request. This is typically the same evening as the hearing but in some instances, the case is continued.
Any party who sought party status has 30 days to appeal the decision of the Zoning Hearing Board
