Real Estate Tax Collector - County and Township Tax
The real estate tax collector office is located at the side entrance of the township building. Regular collection hours for county and township tax bills are on Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, additional hours are listed on the tax bill. The office is open some afternoons; please call first. School tax bills are collected only on days listed on the bill.
County/township tax bills are mailed directly to property owners March 1st and school district tax bills are mailed July 1st. All tax bills have a 60 day discount pay period (calculations are done for your convenience on your tax bill). Please review and forward the bill to your mortgage company or financial institution if taxes are escrowed. Property owners are advised to make a copy of their bill prior to forwarding.
Taxpayers can pay their taxes by using Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express by going on line to www.officialpayments.com or by phone 1-800-2paytax (1-800-272-9829) and enter West Rockhill’s jurisdiction code #4822 and follow the instructions. Please be aware that Official Payments does charge a convenience fee.

West Rockhill Township has a street light assessment. Residents living in developments where street lights were installed as a requirement of the developments’ approvals are subject to a $56.16 per year fee. This fee is included on your annual county and township tax bill dated March 1st.
Homestead/Farmstead Exclusion applications must be received by the Bucks County Board of Assessment Office by March 1st, in order to be eligible for a tax reduction. You only need to apply once for your current residence. Please contact that office directly at 215-348-6219 or visit them online at www.buckscounty.org, click on Government, Departments, Board of Assessments scroll down to Homestead/Farmstead Application.
The Property Tax/Rent Rebate program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians who are age 65 and older, widows and widowers age 50 and older and people with disabilities age 18 and older.
