The Veteran's Memorial is located near the Derstine Pavilion. The rustic Hafler Trail, 1 mile in length (follow the blue blazes) offers a scenic woodland walk beginning near the Dog Park and continuing on Hafler Road to terminate back at the rear of the Park. Dog Park at James Memorial Park
Located behind the baseball field, the Dog Park is adjacent to the walking path for easy access directly next to the Park Rules and waste station. Stop in to visit the new Dog Park and meet new friends! And always, please be considerate to all dogs and other residents.

Get Fit with a Doc Walks in James Park

Get Fit with a Doc is a community outreach program that offers opportunities to exercise with Grand View Health physicians and staff in James Memorial Park on our ½ mile paved trail. This successful program had an average of 50 participants per session with over 200 registered participants last year! The goal of Grand View Health is to have at least one physician lead each walking event.

This spring, Get Fit with a Doc will be held the first and third Thursdays of each month at 5:30 p.m. Walks will last from 30 to 60 minutes. Our goal is to Get Healthy Together! Everyone is welcome, including children and pets. A brief educational talk from a Grand View Health doctor will be provided at the beginning of each walk. Please bring your own water bottle. Registration will be available before each event.

Trails in West Rockhill Township
West Rockhill Township developed a Trail Plan as part of the 2010 Park & Recreation and Open Space Plan.

Built trails include the Hafler Trail and the James Park Loop Trail. The West Rockhill Township Manderfield Preserve at the Butter Creek Bridge on Allentown Road has blazed trails, a small parking lot and a trail map at the kiosk. A Feasibility Study has been completed for the East Branch Perkiomen Trail from Sellersville to Route 309. The Township is seeking trail volunteers to work on and advocate for trails in WRT.
