The Township is governed by an elected, three member Board of Supervisors that appoints a five member Planning Commission, a seven member Parks & Recreation Board and a three member Zoning Hearing Board to develop and interpret Township policy.  Section 607 of the Second Class Township Code states that the Board of Supervisors shall be charged with the general governance of the township and the execution of legislative, executive and administrative powers in order to ensure sound fiscal management and to secure the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the township.

The Board of Supervisors' meeting is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the West Rockhill Township building and are always open to the public.
