WRT Clean Up Day - Saturday, April 8

posted Mar 20, 2017, 6:26 AM by Judith Decker

The Great American Clean-up of PA event for West Rockhill Township will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017. Please consider volunteering for this annual public service event to clean up your road or another road in the Township.

Free trash bags, gloves, vests, and some Caution Litter Crew signs are available at the Township Building between 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. on April 8.  Coffee and donuts will also be available that morning for volunteers. If you have a conflict on Saturday, the clean-up can be done on an alternate day and supplies can be picked up a few days prior at the township building.

The Township awards four (4) $50.00 "Thank You" checks for your volunteer efforts, two for youth volunteers and two for adults.

Volunteers are still needed for this year’s clean-up of Route 309 for April 8. We will be cleaning from the Sellersville exit ramp to the State Rd exit, south and north bound. We will start at 7:30 a.m. There will be vests, gloves, and trash bags provided and possibly some leftover donuts. Any amount of help is greatly appreciated!

If you know of anyone who would like to participate please have them contact Shari Frerichs/Northern Division (roads north of Ridge Rd) at 215-257-4277, kidsnkats@verizon.net or Rita Cipriano/Southern Division (roads south of Ridge Rd) at 215-723-9215, rjcip@yahoo.com.
